Secrets of a Jewelry Box
Each jewelry box reflects the personality of its owner and hides stories within. Stories of old brooches, chains made from bones, diadems, and, in essence, of bygone eras. The lid of the jewelry box can be opened with a simple motion, but uncovering the secrets of the creations inside is a more complicated task. Where did the silver button come from? How many years did the cone-shaped baroque pearl lie deep in the waters? Who fastened the clasped belt around a slender waist in the last century? All these secrets served as a source of inspiration for Tímea, encouraging her to bring them back to life in a new form. Just as the contents of the jewelry box were carefully arranged by skilled hands, we too must leaf through this album to discover the unfolding world of Tímea’s reimagined jewelry.
